International performing and recording artist Anne Akiko Meyers is one of the most sought-after violinists today. Her insightful and passionate interpretations of both traditional and contemporary repertoire attract worldwide critical acclaim. Ms. Meyers has built a comprehensive discography on the RCA Victor Red Seal and RPO labels. Her latest discs include a selection of works by Japanese and French composers on the AVIE label, a live Camerata recording of the Somei Satoh violin concerto which was written for her with the Tokyo Metropolitan Orchestra under Tetsuji Honna and Joseph Schwantner's 'Angelfire', a fantasy written especially for Ms. Meyers, was released this past September with Andrew Litton and the Dallas Symphony Orchestra on the Hyperion label.

Recent concert highlights include a gala performance celebrating Suntory Hall's 19th anniversary with the New Japan Philharmonic, a tour of Japan and Korea with the Hiroshima Symphony, a performance broadcast throughout Britain of Bernstein's Serenade with the BBC Scottish Symphony and many other appearances throughout North America. She will return to perform with the Minnesota Orchestra with Andrew Litton and the Rochester Philharmonic with Christopher Seaman at the Vail Bravo! Festival this coming summer, among many other appearances.

Ms. Meyers has performed with the world's leading orchestras including the Boston, Los Angeles, New York, Philadelphia, Saint Louis, the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, Royal Philharmonic, Swedish Radio Orchestra, Sydney Symphony, Tokyo's NHK Symphony, Vienna Symphony and the Warsaw Philharmonic among many others. She has given masterclasses and been an adjudicator in competitions around the world.
