Sympho’s newest adventure in sound and space is InSpiral, commissioned by the Oliver Ranch Foundation, a vast and unusual outdoor collection of site-specific sculpture in the Sonoma wine country. InSpiral is the first time in its history that the ORF has commissioned a second work from a single artist or organization. The performance takes place inside Anne Hamilton's Tower, an 80-foot-tall, 16-foot-diameter sculpture with interior double-helix staircases. Please join us in what promises to be a fascinating journey in an unforgettable venue. The event features newly-commissioned music by composer-performers Paul Haas and Bora Yoon, played by Sympho under Haas’s direction.
Saturday and Sunday, September 20 and 21, 2014, each at 4:00 P.M.
