Green Lama
Sympho's latest multimedia spectacular is The Green Lama, composed by Paul Haas and John Hadfield, and performed by MAYA and Haas. The score is performed alongside Elliott Forrest's projections of the second issue of the 1940s cult comic book The Green Lama, in which the wealthy playboy Jethro Dumont battles the ills of a great American metropolis using magic powers he acquired during a ten-year sojourn in Tibet.
The premiere of Green Lama was presented by the Rubin Museum as part of the exhibition Hero, Villain, Yeti!: Tibet in Comics.
