Ms. Haas is a corporate attorney by day and a creative free-agent by night. Having started the violin at the age of six, she was invited at the age of 15 to pursue her violin studies on scholarship in Europe. Upon returning to the United States four years later, she enrolled at U.S.C. to continue her musical education there, only to discover that she was more interested in academic pursuits. She transferred to Cornell University, and, upon graduation, worked as a legal analyst at Goldman Sachs, before pursuing her law degree at Northwestern University. She has worked as an attorney at the law firm of Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson LLP, and is now an attorney at Davis & Gilbert LLP. In her spare time, she still gives violin recitals and works on various artistic projects. Ms. Haas has had an important conceptual role in the development of Sympho.
