Courtney Kelly is a recent graduate of Lehigh University, where she majored in music history with a minor in actuarial science as a Dean’s Scholar. While at Lehigh, She taught orchestra at a local high school for the performing arts in addition to serving as principal bassoonist of the Lehigh University Wind Ensemble and principal cellist of the Lehigh Philharmonic, with whom she recently performed Kabalevsky’s Cello Concerto No. 1. She has also performed as a cellist with the New York Youth Symphony for the past two years. Next year, she will begin studies to pursue a master’s degree in musicology.
